Delaware General Assembly is back in Session!

Yesterday 1/10/2023 the 152nd General Assembly was sworn into office. The current breakdown of the State Senate is 6 Republicans and 15 Democrats. The State House is 15 Republicans and 26 Democrats While as of right now, not too much has gone on yet. Yesterday appeared to be very ceremonial. While looking over all the different bills that have been introduced. A few of the ones that were introduced are: related to how redistricting in done, allowing voters to vote in the primary election of any party of their choice regardless of their current voter registration, and lowering the real estate transfer tax back down. As the session moves forward I am still watching the bills that are introduced. I am expecting some controversial bills to get introduced in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned as we watch how this session unfolds.
